Lockdown and a general lack of singing opportunities have made regular singing more difficult to achieve. As we are still uncertain about when ‘normality’ will be regained, it seems a good time to begin a series of online classes dealing with some of the vocal problems that may occur as we sing less. Classes are open to singers of all abilities. The first two topics are:
Thursday February 11th 10-12 CREAKS AND WOBBLES
Thursday March 4th 10-12 RANGE AND RUNS
The first class will look at the creaks and wobbles that may have crept into your singing during lockdown and work on steps to eliminate them.
The second class will be looking at range and agility, both of which may have suffered if you have been singing less during lockdown.
For both sessions we will be looking at a range of vocal and physical exercises as well as singing “together”. As we will be working on Zoom you will be muted during group singing and only able to hear Joyce. Some find they enjoy the experience more if headphones are worn.
Classes are £20 each or £35 if you book both.
Future topics include volume control and vocal stamina. For more information and to book your place please email firstname.lastname@example.org
