Lockdown and a general lack of singing opportunities have made regular singing more difficult to achieve in the past year. As we think about life returning to normal, whenever that may be, it seems a good time to begin a series of online classes, via Zoom, dealing with some of the vocal problems that may have occurred as we have sung less during lockdown. Classes are open to singers of all abilities. The next two topics are:
Thursday April 15th 10-12 Vocal Stamina
Thursday May 6th 10-12 Vocal control and tuning
The first class will look at how we can increase our vocal stamina after so long away from our regular singing opportunities
The second class will be looking at regaining control over our voices, and focussing particularly on good tuning, which may have suffered during lockdown .
For both sessions we will be looking at a range of vocal and physical exercises as well as singing “together”. As we will be working on Zoom you will be muted during group singing and only able to hear Joyce. Some find they enjoy the experience more if headphones are worn.
Classes are £20 each or £35 if you book both.
Future topics include volume control and tension. For more information and to book your place please email firstname.lastname@example.org
